What is Amapola?
Amapola is the Spanish word for Poppy flower. As a first gen Latina I wanted to incorporate my family’s origin language into my studio name.
Why Amapola?
I was born in southern Cali where the state flowers are poppies. I’ve lived in San Diego the majority of my life before moving to beautiful San Antonio TX. Poppies also just happen to be my favorite flowers of all time.
